Where Were You 35 Years Ago?
There’s a pretty good chance you were working at one of our many Northwell Health facilities. As we watch our family grow and slowly become one united organization we can’t help but be proud of our past and the history of our own communities and hospitals.
This year marks a milestone for hundreds of Northwell Health team members. If you are celebrating 20 to 50 years (in five year increments) with Northwell Health you will get the chance to celebrate and dance the night away with friends and colleagues.
Lenox Hill Hospital, MEETH and Lenox Hill Greenwich Village have over 300 team members alone celebrating a milestone on September 19. Let’s hear what a few have to say:
“The big question is how does one stay at one place for so long? The answer is the people that you work with. There is so much comradery in our unit- people are nice, caring, and concerned. We have great nurses, physicians, therapists – I could go on and on. I LOVE what I do, it’s as simple as that. I am really looking forward to Monday night’s celebration!”
-Kathy Fogarty, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, Neonatal Unit, Lenox Hill Hospital
Milestone: 35 years“I am so proud of my years at Lenox Hill. You can see me in the “On the Day of Admission” brochure when I was a clerk in the 1980’s. In fact I am so proud I aired this segment (History of Lenox Hill Hospital) on my Cable TV show in 2007. ”
-Kristal Hart, Bed Control Officer, Lenox Hill Hospital
Milestone: 35 years

35 years this year with this healthcare system, starting in Glen Cove, then moving to NSUH, and now at LIJ. Always moving forward in my career, with the support of this organization. Advancement is there, all you have to do is keep you eyes open and use the opportunities that are here!
